The Ginney

Booking Terms & Conditions - All persons bookingmust be over 18 and agree to the following terms.

Payment - A non-refundable deposit of £100 with each booking. The balance of the cost of your holiday will be due 6 weeks prior to the commencement of your stay. The full amount of your stay is payable if less than 6 weeks between booking and holiday. Payments accepted by Cheque or BACs (Please enquire for Bank Details for On Line Banking).

Cancellation and Insurance - If once you have paid a deposit, you have to cancel your holiday booking, please telephone followed up with an immediate written confirmation of cancellation. The £100 initial deposit is non returnable. If you have to cancel once you have paid the full cost, we will do our utmost to re-let the accommodation in which case you will be returned the balance owing, less 10% to cover administration costs. In the event that the accommodation cannot be re-let the full amount is payable.

We strongly recommend that you take out a cancellation insurance for your holiday.

In the unlikely event for reasons beyond our control, that we were forced to cancel your holiday, then we would refund all monies paid for your holiday. Our liability to you would not extend beyond this refund.

Arrival - Your cottage will be ready for you from 4.00pm on the day of your arrival.

​

Departure - We ask that you strictly adhere to vacate your cottage by 10.00am in order to allow time for cleaning and would also ask that you leave the property in a clean and tidy condition.

No Pets - Strictly no pets allowed.

​

No Smoking - Strictly No Smoking.We reserve the right to cancel bookings if continual infringements occur.

Damage & Breakages - You are responsible for any damage or breakages you cause to the cottage and itscontents. In the unfortunate event of any loss or damage, please report this before leaving. We reserve the right to charge in full for any such costs incurred.

Property - Personal property is your own responsibility and is not that of The Ginney. Although we provide ample off road parking in a quiet village setting, Vehicles and its contents are left at your own risk.

Term of Stay - The contract is legally binding and is for the only purpose of holiday let and no other. The term of the duration of your stay is solely on the agreed terms of your booking.

Daisy and Buttercup are two one bed holiday cottages, ensuite facilities and incorporate a lounge, kitchen, dining area that is fully equipped for your holiday. Kitchen includes Electric Cooker, Fridge, Microwave and Dishwasher. Bed linen, towels and tea towels are all provided. Electricity is included in your stay.

The Cottages do not have washing machines, however a Launderette is available in Penrith.
